Lifehouse, an agency working toward the integration of people with disabilities in the community, is hiring a tech-savvy, detail-oriented HR Assistant.
- Maintain databases for our HRIS, time and attendance system and online scheduling software: input new employees and positions, update entries, and teach managers and employees to navigate the systems. Help troubleshoot problems.
- Check electronic timecards for semi-monthly payroll and manually calculate about 10% of the timecards.
- Answer employee questions regarding benefits, policies, etc and / or point them in the right direction.
- Provide new hire orientations and benefits information. Track clearances for new hires.
- Check references for potential new hires.
- Maintain employee files. Make sure our documentation is complete and we are in compliance with policies and regulations.
