CalFresh is looking for a teammate who is fluent in both Spanish and English to help support our users and work with other outreach organizations to do the same. Together we can make a meaningful difference helping people apply for and receive the monthly benefits needed to keep healthy food on the table.

GetCalFresh.org is one of our flagship efforts. It’s a new, mobile phone friendly way to get and keep food stamps in California. As the number of people using GetCalFresh.org grows, we need to make sure we’re delivering assistance as effectively as we can.

Responsibilities:
CalFresh Outreach, Online Application Assistance
• Become an expert on the CalFresh (formerly Food Stamps) program.
• Help users of GetCalFresh.org complete their applications and required steps via e-mail, text message and live chat.
• Help identify questions or problems GetCalFresh.org users have most frequently, and which are most important.
• Provide people who aren’t eligible with referrals to other food distribution programs or related public benefits.
