Digital Media Assistant at Community Media Center of Marin


The Community Media Center of Marin (CMCM) is a non-profit organization providing residents of Marin County with access to communication technologies, media training and the latest digital tools so they can create cable TV and online media. CMCM operates Marin TV, Marin County’s own non-commercial community, educational and governmental cable channels

The Digital Media Assistant will assist in the operation of channel playback systems; operate and manage channel graphic software; implement programming schedules; support maintenance of programming and producer files; log, transcode and ingest playback files, monitor and enforce programming policies and procedures; and manage all other related aspects of master control operations for the channels.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage encoding and scheduling of video programming for broadcast
  • Responsible for quality control of media content
  • Occasional program editing
  • Assist in curating the Marin TV On-Demand site
