Administrative Services Technician for County of Marin


The Marin County Human Resources Department and the Marin County Department of Health and Human Services are accepting applications for the position of Administrative Services Technician. There is one full-time vacancy available in the Social Services Division — Deputy Public Guardian’s office.

Working with behavioral health case managers in support of clients, coordinates social security and VA benefits and is the representative payee for beneficiary issues. Performs complex or technical processing or program support functions within an identifiable and prescribed framework. Responsibilities may include providing direction to staff on the application of policies and procedures and serving as departmental liaison to other agencies with respect to accounting, tax preparation and State mandated statistics. In addition, this position may provide support for various assignments requiring the exercise of initiative and independent judgment, as well as exceptional organizational skills. Some assignments may require the ability to perform more advanced mathematical calculations.
