The County of Marin is currently seeking a Media Specialist.
The Media Specialist for Marin County Parks is responsible for developing information for a multitude of projects, programs, and initiatives for the purpose of promoting awareness and participation in department activities.
The Media Specialist will create and assist in the creation of content, designs, and materials by exercising skills in graphic design, environmental design, branding, marketing, writing, editing, outreach services, stakeholder communications, event planning, and photography/video.
The Media Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of work and communications including: public information campaigns in various media, website content development, newsletters, social media management, news releases, email communications, messaging and talking point development; Marin County Parks brand and style development and management; design of signs and environmental graphics, and design of print and electronic materials, including but not limited to infographics, flyers, posters, ads, brochures, calendars, maps, information sheets, and outreach/educational supplies; and coordinating Section 508 accessibility standards in development of all public information materials.
